I knew about it and I had to protect myself and my family then martial arts gave me my identity and confidence. I'm not a tall guy but being a martial artist I can handle myself better than I could before. For me it's a way of life and now with my experience and tutelage I can give my students insight and how to handle themselves as a Martial Artist and a good person.
