Most recently he traveled to China to start a basketball school that the National Basketball Association (NBA) sponsored. In this capacity he trained coaches and oversaw the development of young players. He has also been on the coaching staff for the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks. At the college level, he was a head coach for 15 years, NCAA Div. 1 for 9 of those.
