It went on to win Miura a prize from the Comi Manga School. In 1989, after receiving a doctorate degree, Kentarou started a project titled \u003ci\u003eKing of Wolves\u003c\/i\u003e based on a script by Buronson, writer of \u003ci\u003eHokuto no Ken\u003c\/i\u003e (\u003ci\u003eFist Of The North Star\u003c\/i\u003e). \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eIn 1990, the first volume \u003ci\u003eBerserk\u003c\/i\u003e was released with a relatively limited success.
