King, who is of Cherokee and Greek descent and was born in California, was chair of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota before moving to University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. He recently won a Governor General's Award for his adult novel, \u003ci\u003eThe Back of the Turtle\u003c\/i\u003e; he won both the BC National Award for Canadian Nonfiction and the RBC Taylor Prize for \u003ci\u003eThe Inconvenient Indian\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cb\u003eNatasha Donovan\u003c\/b\u003e is a Métis illustrator with a focus on comics and children's illustration.
