His publications include the textbooks \u003cem\u003eEssential Geriatrics\u003c\/em\u003e and co-authoring \u003cem\u003eGeriatric Medicine: 300 Specialty Certificate Exam Questions\u003c\/em\u003e. Outside of work, he tries to keep fit through circuit training, running and indoor bouldering.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDr Francis J A Collin\u003c\/strong\u003e was born in Nottingham and trained in medicine at the University of Bristol. He works as a consultant geriatrician at Northumbria Healthcare and has a particular interest in liaison working having worked as an orthogeriatrician and set up surgical geriatrics and community-based intermediate care services.
