A self-taught thinker, his life was that of a soldier and was deeply marked by the adventures of the Napoleonic Wars. After being defeated at Jena and taken prisoner by Napoleon, he later contributed to his defeat at Waterloo in 1818. Promoted to general and appointed director general of the Prussian Military Academy in Berlin, he was able to devote time to his reflections on the nature of war. Drawing, film, comics, painting, music, and performance unfold or merge to varying degrees in each project, serving to communicate a journey, tell a story. My path as a creator began with the written word and progressed naturally toward all these disciplines, which today are my construction tools. In parallel, and often alongside my work, I greatly enjoy the role of teacher and artistic mediator.
