The Rjiksmuseum published two books celebrating his work titled \u003ci\u003eDick Bruna: Artist\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eDick Bruna: See More\u003c\/i\u003e. During a career spanning 60 years, Dick Bruna gained international acclaim. He retired in 2011.
