Her most widely read book, \u003ci\u003eThe Legacy of Conquest\u003c\/i\u003e, is in its twenty-fifth year of publication. \u003cb\u003eJason L. Hanson \u003c\/b\u003eis a member of the research faculty at the Center of the American West at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where his work focuses on natural resource use and the environment.
