He writes books in German and Turkish as well as essays for German newspapers and radio stations. His first novel written in Turkish, Alman Terbiyesi, was published in 2007 in Instanbul. Elizabeth Oehlkers Wright's translations of contemporary German poets has been featured in Delos, Agni, and Another Chicago Magazine among others. Winner of Agni's William J.
