She has held leadership roles across public, private and non-profit organisations, including the Department of Conservation. Nicola studied at the University of Otago where she studied zoology and law, as well as a postgraduate diploma in natural history film-making. She has been a passionate conservationist all her life. Nicola helps present the weekly radio show Critter of the Week with Jesse Mulligan on Radio New Zealand and most recently co-hosted the television series Endangered Species Aotearoa. \u003cbr\u003e Jo Pearson is an illustrator based in Otepoti Dunedin. Originally from Auckland, Jo has illustrated two colouring books for adults, and this is her first foray into children's book illustration.
