Saul-Paul Sirag was raised as a Christian missionary but after graduating from seminary studied pre-med for a year before moving to U.C. Berkeley, where he discovered theater. He hopped a freight train to New York. There he produced an Off-Off-Broadway play. Back in Berkeley, he became active in social justice and the psychedelic movement. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePsychedelics piqued his interest in consciousness.
