Rock 'n' roll, with croony swoons, jazz bursts, manic glitzy sass, then punk fits rip, segueing into oonst electronica. Later the ocean calls, and our anti-heroine gathers distinct treasures, she side-steps to unpredicted, involved after-effects. A truly original novel revealing a complex personal narrative across Europe, Britain and New Zealand. Alexander's first novel, FAT, \"...colourful text with lots of great lines... luscious and coruscating ....\" - Gerry Webb. Second novel Concrete, was \"...skilfully worked . . . Imagery is precise and vivid with some offbeat metaphors and a punchy, poetic style...\" - Mike Eager. This, Alexander's third novel - developed for nine years - offers ingenious, disturbingly realistic, and fabulous scenarios. Glam Rock Boyfriends, quite a back-stage trip.
