As a professor in the Department of Psychology at Bemidji State University, she teaches students the psychology of human-animal interaction in the classroom and serves as Director of the Human-Animal Interaction Laboratory. Dr. Fournier has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and is a member of the International Society on Anthrozoology.
