As an author, his tally is 43 books published since 1989.\u003cbr\u003eJohnny freelances for a number of specialist car magazines, reviewing cars, interviewing race drivers and personalities in the automotive industry, and loves attending international historic race meetings and rallies. \u003cbr\u003eHe ran the John Player Team Lotus Motorsport Press Office for two seasons, and was a research associate at the Motor Industry Research Unit at UEA in the late 1980s.\u003cbr\u003eJohnny was born in Leicester, attended Southern Art College, Stirling University and UEA.
