He held positions at Michigan Technological University and the University of Texas at Brownsville before joining the faculty at Southeastern Louisiana University where he is now Assistant Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The bulk of his research has been devoted to understanding the mnemonic influence of bizarreness and distinctiveness. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eR. Reed Hunt\u003c\/strong\u003e received his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of New Mexico. His research has focused on human memory.
