After days of being injured and losing hope she is found by a woodsman and his wife. They take the bird in (who they have named Blu) to mend her wounds. One day she is healed and ready to return to her friends in the forest. She takes flight but later that evening when the couple are relaxing in front of the fire, they here a tapping on the window, Blu has returned.
