He has been associate vice president of Brigham Young University (BYU) and the university's athletic director. From 1973 to 1991 he served as dean of the College of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance, and Athletics at BYU.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDr. Jensen has been an active member of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD).
