She has worked in the field of stammering for more than 30 years, providing specialist therapy for children and their families, young people and adults who stammer. Elaine is a certified European Fluency Specialist, a board member of the International Fluency Association, chair of the European Fluency Specialists' board, an affiliate of the American Speech and Hearing Association and a specialist adviser for stammering for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eAlison Nicholas\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eis a specialist speech and language therapist who worked at the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering for 23 years.
