She is the author of three novels and three poetry collections, including \u003ci\u003ePoetry Marching for Sindy\u003c\/i\u003e. She is the recipient of numerous prizes, awards, and scholarships both for her art and her literature, including the Prix litt?raire de l?Abitibi-T?miscamingue in 2012 for \u003ci\u003eLe Crabe noir\u003c\/i\u003e, an unpublished collection of poetry. She frequently serves as a speaker on the subject of Indigenous art and literature in Canada and internationally.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eSusan Ouriou\u003c\/b\u003e is a Canadian fiction writer, literary translator, and editor from Red Deer, Alberta. She was the founding editor of the translation anthology TransLit and is an award?winning fiction writer. Her translation of Charlotte Gingras? \u003ci\u003eLa libert?? Connais pas\u003c\/i\u003e, titled in English as \u003ci\u003ePieces of Me\u003c\/i\u003e, was awarded the Governor General's Award for French to English translation in 2009. Six of her translations have been shortlisted for the award.
