Her first collection, \u003ci\u003eAir Kissing on Mars\u003c\/i\u003e was published by Red Hen Press in 2010 and appeared on the Poetry Foundation's Contemporary Best-Sellers list. The book was described by \u003ci\u003eThe Los Angeles Times\u003c\/i\u003e as, \"sensual and evocative . . . seamlessly combining humor and heartache.\" Kim teaches in the BA Program at Antioch University Los Angeles, and is the owner of a literary publicity company called Kim-from-L.A. Her poems have appeared in \u003ci\u003ePloughshares\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eThe Seneca Review\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eRattle\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eBarrow Street\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eEclipse\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003eTwo Hawks Quarterly\u003c\/i\u003e.
