Now in its\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eeighth year, the program hosts an active blog (www.writinginsideVT.com) and continues to hold\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ereadings and book talks based on the 2013 publication of HEAR ME, SEE ME: \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eINCARCERATED WOMEN WRITE (Orbis Books). Sarah co-edited this anthology of writing\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand art by 60 early program participants, and has published a number of pieces as well as\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edelivered two keynote speeches about the work.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSarah was greatly influenced by her father, a world-class chemist devoted to making the world a\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebetter place. From him she learned the value of community and a love of words at play. Sarah\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003espent the first 25 years of her professional life using language in service to planning, marketing\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand public relations for non profit organizations. Sarah's current work as change agent and poet\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edraws on the full range of her experience and prior training, including a doctorate in health\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eeducation from Harvard and certification as a mediator. Language remains the medium for her\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003elife work creating communities that support individual transformation and healing through\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ewriting, as well as her own creative writing.
