She joined the Center for Digital Humanities at Princeton University and became the Assistant Director. Her teaching and research focused on Shakespeare, but during her many years of education, she never stopped writing fiction.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn 2018, Rebecca was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. With steely determination and no hint of self-pity, she continued to work, teach, write, and enjoy life.
