He manages a pre-seed fund for students and researchers, the Innogrants, and teaches entrepreneurship. Until 2004, he was with Index Ventures, a pan-European venture capital firm which invested in Skype, mysql, Virata, Genmab. He began his career as a researcher in electrical engineering and applied mathematics in Paris. He is the author of the book \"Start-Up, what we may still learn from Silicon Valley\" and related blog www.startup-book.com. Lebret is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Stanford University.
