He was the inaugural head of the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Kentucky and was instrumental in understanding the native peoples of the Ohio Valley. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e Charles E. Snow (1910-1967) earned degrees from the University of Colorado and Harvard University.
