International University, where he was professor of intercultural and historical studies and the dean of the College of Intercultural Studies. He was also the national vice president of publications for the Evangelical Missiological Society worked with the International Mission Board, as a pioneer in mission strategy whose drive played a key role in developing IMB initiatives in creative access and marketplace missions. Barnett also was a founding board member of Baptist Global Response, a Southern Baptist humanitarian organization, and filled an important role in developing the Consortium for Global Education partnership.\u003c\/p\u003e Michael Pocock is Senior Professor Emeritus of Missiology \u0026amp; Intercultural Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary. He ministered for 16 years with The Evangelical Alliance Mission, first in Venezuela and later as mobilization director.
