He has been exploring the relationship between perception and reality since the late 1960s, drawing on his background as a mathematician and martial artist as well as on his experience as a Feldenkrais Teacher. Ralph trained with the founder of the Feldenkrais Method, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. He has studied the internal martial arts of T'ai Chi and Aikido, and has a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California.
