His fiction, poetry, and essays have appeared widely in various literary journals. He is the recipient of a Plattner\/\u003ci\u003eAppalachian Heritage Award\u003c\/i\u003e. His work has been included in the \u003ci\u003eBest of the Net\u003c\/i\u003e anthology and has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
