When the Muslim army was preparing for the expedition to \u003cstrong\u003eTabuk\u003c\/strong\u003e to face the Roman forces, the Prophet ﷺ asked, \u003cem\u003e\"Who will equip this army, and Allah will forgive him?\"\u003c\/em\u003e Uthman (R) stepped forward without hesitation. He provided camels and horses sufficient to equip a large portion of the army and donated a sack filled with gold coins.
