Between the \u003cbr\u003e1980s and 2014, the Lippeverband restored the watercourse to its natural\u003cbr\u003e state as part of the \"Seseke Programme\". This transformation was \u003cbr\u003eaccompanied by an intercommunal art project entitled \"Über Wasser \u003cbr\u003egehen\", which took place on the river and its tributaries as part of \u003cbr\u003eRUHR.2010. Eleven artworks dealing with the ecological improvement of \u003cbr\u003ethe river landscape and the restoration of nature have remained on the \u003cbr\u003ebanks, which are now green again. It is possible to view them on walks \u003cbr\u003eand cycle tours between Lünen and Bönen. This volume introduces those \u003cbr\u003eworks and offers a visual tour of the Seseke landscape.
