He did his undergraduate degree, in mathematics and English, at Washington University in St. Louis, and his Ph.D., in complex analysis, at the University of Washington, Seattle. Since 1981 he has been on the mathematics faculty at St. Olaf College, in Northfield, Minnesota.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn 1987 Paul Zorn received the Allendoerfer Award for mathematical exposition from the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). He has also served on the Council of the American Mathematical Society and on the Board of Governors of the MAA.
