Over 600 people were killed, half of which were citizens killed in street fighting. Some were sentenced to death by firing squad, others were sentenced to prison. Ernst Toller was sent to Niederschönenfeld prison for five years, where he began working on the majority of his poems. When he was released, he was exiled to the UK, and later to the States. While living in New York, he received word that his mother and sister were sent to concentration camps, and he took his life in 1939.

Number of Pages: 268

Dimensions: 0.61 x 9 x 6 IN

Publication Date: September 21, 2021

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0789/2782/3097/files/a3B2SWN5bTN5SFZxLzYydVNEKytyQT09_8b511c70-cd7f-4021-8eaf-de2d4d90aa81.webp?v=1769113180
