Brown is the author of 10 books, and this is her fourth scary story collection from August House. Her chilling stories are set in familiar, contemporary settings like: schools, family rooms, neighborhoods, farms, and even campgrounds that create an undercurrent of something very, very scary pulling the reader into the undertow of terror. Roberta grew up on a farm near Russell Springs, Kentucky, at the edge of Appalachia and she graduated from Berea College before pursuing a career in education and becoming a writer.
