She served as President of the International Society for Environmental Ethics from 2022 to 2024, and she is an Associate Editor for the journal \u003ci\u003eEnvironmental Ethics\u003c\/i\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eDan C. Shahar \u003c\/b\u003eis MBA Program Director and a Teaching Assistant Professor at West Virginia University. His research explores the moral and political dimensions of humanity's relationship with the natural world.
