A member of the Chicago Gay \u0026amp; Lesbian Hall of Fame, she died in 1997 in Tuscon, AZ, where she lived for 20 years. Barbara Grier is a writer and editor, and co-founder in 1973 of Naiad Press, the legendary lesbian book publisher.
