What Happens During the Sync
When you initiate a bulk sync for a category, BooksCloud:
1. Queries its catalog for all books matching your selected category, filters (cover type, language, bestseller percentile, in-stock status), and keyword parameters.
2. Creates Shopify product listings for each qualifying book — title, cover image, synopsis, ISBN, genre tags, and marked-up price — all pushed to your store via the Shopify API.
3. Continues this in batches until all matching titles are imported.
The 10–15 minute estimate applies to most standard category syncs. Very broad syncs covering multiple sub-categories or applying loose filters may take slightly longer, but the process is designed to run efficiently in the background regardless.
Do You Have to Stay on the Page?

What If the Sync Seems Stuck?
BooksCloud's sync is a background process. If you check your Products panel before the 15-minute window is up, you may see only a portion of the books have appeared.
