BooksCloud is designed to make it easy to build and scale a book catalog inside Shopify while reducing manual product setup and inventory management.

Yes. You can uninstall BooksCloud from your Shopify store at any time.

BooksCloud can be installed by Shopify merchants based in any country, but BooksCloud currently ships books only within the United States. International shipping is not available at this time.

No. BooksCloud is a Shopify app, not a standalone ecommerce platform. You will need a Shopify store to use BooksCloud.

BooksCloud operates through Shopify’s app ecosystem and is designed to work securely with your Shopify store. Our payment processing is handled by your stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors. We do not hold your credit card information, stripe does.

Getting started with BooksCloud is simple:

• Install the BooksCloud app from Shopify
• Set your pricing and margins and choose how you want shipping charged.
• Use Bulk Sync to add books by category or search by ISBN, author, title, or topic and choose individual books.
• Promote your store

We will pick, pack and ship your book orders and automatically sync tracking with your store.

No. BooksCloud provides real-time stock updates to help minimize sales of out-of-stock books and removes unavailable titles quickly.

Yes. BooksCloud provides images of the books, their title, description, tags and metadata. You can use those as a starting point and you can customize any part of them as you like.

No setup fee. You can install BooksCloud and select the books you want to sell at no charge.

No. BooksCloud does not support preorders at this time. New releases are added weekly.

BooksCloud pricing is pretty straightforward. We do not charge you to use the app. We only make money when you make sales. We are book wholesalers. We work with publishers and distributors to create a large catalog so that you can have the exact books you want to sell in your store.

Yes. You control the pricing of the books and you can choose how to charge for shipping, either added to the retail price of the book or added a shipping charge in the cart. However and whatever you charge for shipping, we charge retailers a flat $7 for shipping no matter how many books in an order.

Credit card processing fees are charged by stripe to our account, not yours.

We don’t pay a commission.

The way it works is you add books to your store. You make a sale. You collect all of the money from the sale.

BooksCloud gets sent the order right after the sale is made from your website. BooksCloud holds the order for 24-hours so you have a chance to make any changes you want to make to the order. You can submit the order at any time during that 24-hours. Or at approximately the 24-hour mark, we will submit the order for fulfillment.

Right before we submit the order for fulfillment, we charge your credit card for the cost of the book plus shipping.

So, we don’t pay you a commission, but you earn the different between what you charge your customer and the cost of the book plus shipping.

You can set the markup for the books and decide whether to add shipping to the retail price of the book or charge it separately through Shopify's admin.

When a customer places an order for a BooksCloud title in your Shopify store, BooksCloud handles fulfillment and sends tracking updates back to your store.

BooksCloud offers flat-rate $7 shipping and fulfills from multiple U.S. warehouses.

BooksCloud does not accept returns unless:

• the book arrives damaged, or
• the wrong book is received

BooksCloud uses quality packaging to help minimize the risk of damage during shipping.

BooksCloud ships to USPS compliant addresses in the United States. This includes:

• all 50 US States
• APO (Army Post Office-US Army and US Air Force) military addresses
• FPO (Fleet Post Office- US Navy and US Marines Corps) military addresses
• US Territories, including: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Marshall Islands, Palau, Minor Island
