Author Biography
Carol grew up in New England, where the changing seasons and quiet woods inspired a lifelong love of reflection and inner stillness. In 1998, she moved to Southern California in search of deeper meaning, a journey that led her to work at the renowned wellness retreat Golden Door and begin a dedicated mindfulness practice. She has since taught yoga and mindfulness classes, which she continues today. In 2023, Carol supported her husband through a terminal cancer diagnosis. During that profound time, mindfulness became a lifeline, deepening her understanding of presence, love, and living fully.
