by Ingrid Wilson (Author)
"The millrace, the mud and the midsummer sun..."Enter a landscape inhabited by seagulls, jellyfish, mythological beings and characters of local legend: A land through which the poet often looks back in order to move forward.
Wilson's world is one of contrasts, from vast wildernesses to flower-filled gardens, Warm Saharan Winds to Northern Wilds. Tracing the poet's work over the last five years, developments and changes are inevitable, but through it all, a unifying style remains."A person who spoke no English, hearing Ingrid's poems read aloud, would surmise that they were listening to music."
