Clara Barton (1821-1912) was a social activist who served as a nurse during the U.S. Civil War and who founded the American Red Cross. Author Biography

Corra Bacon-Foster (c. 1848-1918) was a Member of the Columbia Historical Society, a Member of the American Historical Association and Historian of the Office of Indian Affairs.
