A New Gnosticism: Psyops, Satan, Sin, and Salvation. - Paperback

by Van Rothrock (Author)

A New Gnosticism is a provocative work of religious philosophy and cultural criticism that argues Christianity has been hijacked-both spiritually and institutionally-by forces hostile to its original message. Drawing on early Christian thought, Gnosticism, scripture, philosophy, and modern psychological warfare theory, the book advances a controversial thesis: God did not create the violent, predatory world we inhabit; it was corrupted and shaped by a lesser, malevolent intelligence, while organized religion has functioned as a psychological control mechanism rather than a path to truth.

Written from an unapologetically Christian perspective, the book seeks to reclaim the radical, liberating core of the Gospel while challenging atheism, institutional religion, political theology, and modern secular dogma. It is designed for readers dissatisfied with both traditional religion and materialism, those who sense that something is profoundly wrong with the world and with the explanations they've been given.
