by Lexis Mollica (Editor), Eleanor Whitman (Editor), Serina Degami-Teawight (Illustrator)

A Tour of the World's Shapes brings The Math Explorers Series to its grand finale. (Standard Paperback Edition)
The Math Explorers Series, Volume 10

When Zubin Cicada's orchestra receives an invitation to perform around the world, Tamias, Elm, Aspen, Oak, Melvyn, the crows, and the whole Stream community face problems bigger than anything they have solved before. Concert venues, wedding plans, transportation, sound, shapes, schedules, and surprises all begin to connect.

As the tour grows, readers explore geometry, systems, scale, capacity, feedback, planning, and the way shapes affect real spaces and real decisions. The story turns mathematics into something lived: how people gather, how sound moves, how structures hold, how routes work, and how a community adapts when the world suddenly becomes much larger.

Includes helpful appendices with teaching moments, a glossary, and activities for parents, educators, and curious readers.

Perfect for curious readers, families, teachers, and anyone who believes math is more than rules on a page.
