Mike Kelly is a featured columnist of The Bergen Record in New Jersey, a podcast and documentary producer, and author of three critically acclaimed nonfiction books. Besides his newspaper, Kelly's columns also appear in USA Today and across the USA Today Network of more than 200 newspapers and their websites. He has written three non-fiction books: The Bus on Jaffa Road (Lyons Press, 2014), Color Lines: The Troubled Dreams of Racial Harmony in an American Town (Morrow, 1995), and Fresh Jersey: Stories from an Altered State, a collection of his columns (Camino, 2003).
