John Wenke has authored books on Charles Brockden Brown, Herman Melville, and J.D. Salinger, a collection of short stories, and numerous chapters, essays, notes, and reviews. He teaches American literature and writing at Salisbury University, where he is professor of English and has twice won the Distinguished Faculty Award.
