Australian Dreaming Stories - Paperback

by Ellen Anderson (Author)

"Ellen Anderson's Aboriginal Dreaming stories, as recorded by C.W. Peck in the 1920s and 1930s, evidence the rich oral tradition of the Indigenous people of eastern Australia. Dealing with plants and animals, the physical environment, cultural practices and historic events, they open a window into a civilisation distinguished by its close association with Country."

Michael Organ introduces us to an original storyteller from the NSW Illawarra district, lost in the original publication of Australian Legends in 1933; now an Imprint Classic.
