Author Biography
ANN STANLEY'S SHORT stories and flash fiction pieces regularly appear in the online literary journal shortfictionbreak.com. Her stories have also been featured in several anthologies. She lives in the high desert of Bend, Oregon, where she hikes, skis, bicycles, gardens, and entertains her two corgis. who fervently believe she should stop writing and spend all waking hours doing their bidding. Despite their wishes, she is hard at work on her first novel. In addition to being a writer, Ann in an accomplished musician. She has performed in a variety of bands and taught flute. She has a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, and spent many years researching the spread of HIV. For the past fifteen years, she has also worked as a massage therapist.
