Author Biography
LeeAnna Neumeyer was born in Northport, New York. She loves to write and has a passion for films (classic movies are her favorite). After college, she moved to San Francisco where she taught herself screenwriting while working in film production. When her first screenplay was read by actor, Jack Lemmon, who had encouraged her to "keep writing," she moved to Los Angeles to do just that and proceeded to write nearly thirty screenplays. Several were optioned by top Hollywood producers. After years of working in the film industry, she decided to leave it to write novels. Her first novel, "The Lonely Heart Of The Little Prince," is based on real events that happened in her hometown of Northport back in 1942, where the great writer and aviator, Antoine de Saint-Exupery wrote his classic book, "The Little Prince." Her second book, "Cinderella in Therapy" is a humorous account from the point of view of the psychiatrist who treated the iconic princess. It's a fairy tale for adults, as well as for kids. LeeAnna is currently, and happily, working on more books.
