Author Biography
Karen MacDowall Haggerty was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina but spent most of her growing up years in Union, South Carolina. Living in various states over the years, she's had the privilege of meeting many interesting people. "Everyone has something to tell. I've met so many people whose lives read just like a good book. Never take your life for granted. It's your story." She currently resides with her husband Richard in Jonesville, South Carolina, renovating a sharecropper's shed into their new home. They have three dogs that are devoted Redskins fans and constantly talk smack about the Super Bowl. As if.
