Dead Weight: A Detective Lucy Gauthier Thriller - Paperback

by Liza Drozdov (Author)

Book 5 of the Niagara Noir Series

A severed arm washes up on Gravelly Bay, on the day a popular local Councillor is forced to resign over compromising photos leaked to media. Is there a link between the blackmail and the body of a missing nurse found in a burned out car?

DC Lucy Gauthier's investigation leads her to a dozen missing parolees, who've disappeared from a contested halfway house in town.

It also leads irrevocably to a dark secret, one she'd rather keep buried. She is forced to fight against the Dead Weight of her past as it threatens to drag her under.
