Author Biography
Robert (Tosh) Plumlee began his military career in 1952, at age fourteen when he forged his birth certificate and joined the Texas National Guard' s 49th Armored Division. A few years later, he was selected to join a top-secret military intelligence unit. In this early '20s he attended the School of Illusionary Warfare with fellow recruit Lee Harvey Oswald. He was also flying weapons and supplies to Fidel Castro and his guerrillas on behalf of the CIA. That was just the beginning of a long career as a CIA cut-out pilot that took him to Dealey Plaza the day President Kennedy was killed and into the dark heart of the Iran-Contra scandal. Ralph Pezzullo is a New York Times bestselling author, award-winning playwright and screenwriter and host of the popular podcast Heroes Behind Headlines.
