Author Biography

Author Yasmina Farhat is an ambitious 7th grader who wrote this book and accompanying poem as part of an elective creative writing course at El Rancho Charter Middle School. Her course project was to write one poem and a 50-page storybook. She is an outstanding academic achiever, making the principal's honor list every quarter of her 7th grade year. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing soccer.
